Demmi

A graduate from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (UK), Demmi was born in South America but has spent most of his professional life based in the UK.


In his “previous life” as a classical pianist, university lecturer and soundtrack composer, he was awarded numerous prizes for his performance and compositions, and received dozens of soundtrack commissions ranging from small independent productions to commercially released titles.


Although he always loved working with video art, the Covid lockdowns allowed him the opportunity to greatly expand his skills in that area. In less than a year his video artworks were awarded over 50 prizes in film festivals and were shown in 13 countries (so far).
