Eric Daniel Fraad

A native of New York City and longtime resident of Ireland, Eric Fraad is known on both sides of the Atlantic as an innovative director of film, theatre and opera, an artistic director and cultural entrepreneur. As a director of film, he has created the soon to be released art film, Partita, the multi-award winning, The Island of Saints a full-length feature based on the infamous 14th century witch trial of Dame Alice Kyteler, multi-award winning short, Day Six and numerous music videos for classical ensembles and pop/rock bands in America, Ireland and the UK. His works for the stage have been presented at leading theatres, opera companies and festivals across Europe and the US. Eric is the founder and CEO of Heresy (Heresy Records and Heresy Films), a Dublin-based media boutique that creates acclaimed recordings, films and music videos. Heresy’s recording of The Wexford Carols reached No.1 on the Billboard and Amazon charts.
