Ezequiel Sebastian

Ezequiel Sebastián has been working since 1990 as a Graphic Designer and Creative Director, carrying out functions of design, illustration, making stands and carrying out advertising campaigns, for different Design and Advertising agencies. In 2015 he made the leap to audiovisuals, doing corporate, advertising, documentary and tourism work for El Banco de Alimentos, Cogersa, Gijón Port Authority, University of Oviedo, Oviedo Professional Art Week and Emtusa, among others. He has worked as a camera operator in the documentary Human Park by Tom Fernández, in the ad for Gaitero Spanish Cider and in the fashion spot for the Italian brand Francomina shot in Somiedo. In 2019 he made his first short film “La fiesta de la Democracia” together with Puri Méndez. This short received the award for best photography and a special mention for best short film, at the “IV Rueda con Rueda Short Film Festival”. The festival of Democracy has been selected in the “Saldaña Film Week”, “VII Órbigo International Film Festival”, “Social Short Film Festival”, “Lugo Film Week”, “Visualízame”, “Kursal Film festival”, “Aguilar de Campoo Short Film Festival” and “Valle de la Fuenfría Film and Nature Festival”. In February 2020 they made Human Resources a mini-short with a social theme that is having an important tour in national and international festivals and that has received, on May 25, 2021, the award for best short in Chile, at the International Festival de cine del Cono Sur” and a few days later the first prize at the 11th Farcume: Faro International Short Film Festival. Among the selections we would like to highlight the “Madrid Indie Film Festival”, “CTL59 European Audiovisual Creation Contest”, “Kingdom of León Film and Television Festival”, “Insight half festival” in India and the “Invicines” in Argentina. In June 2020, she made “Haiku”, a daring vertical reading short film that has been selected at the “Jumpstart International Womens Film Festival” in India, the “Kingdom of León Film and Television Festival”, the “Free Film Festival Pro ” of Argentina and at the moment in the “WomenTime” of the Canary Islands and the “Redmoon International Film Competition” of Argentina.
