Francisco Gedda

FRANCISCO GEDDA He was born in 1946 in Temuco, to an Italian father and a Chilean mother. He created and directed between 1982 and 2020, the ethnographic documentary series “Al Sur del Mundo”, "Bajo la Cruz del Sur", “Frutos del País”, “Pueblos Originarios” and “Chile, un territory Al Sur del Mundo”. He was a member of the Advisory Committee of the National Council of Culture and the Arts. He created the Film and Television Program at the University of Chile of which he was the first director. He is the author of the book "The challenge of digital television"
