Jeffrey K Ruoff

Jeffrey Ruoff grew up in Ithaca, NY. After high school, he spent a year on his own traveling around France. Teaching at Dartmouth College, he has written five academic books on film history. Lately, he has been writing first-person essays for the magazine "The Atlantic." Jeffrey also directs documentaries, and "Bon Voyage is certainly his most persona. Jeffrey has received major awards, including a year-long Fulbright to France and a National Endowment for the Humanities grant.
