Johan Erik Granberg

Johan Granberg is an award-winning architect, filmmaker, and educator. With PhD from RMIT and a portfolio of work from six continents, Granberg is a true World-Citizen-of-Design. Granberg combines his Associate Professor role at VCUArts Qatar with his artistical practice. He has been exhibited internationally, received recognition international competitions, and is a frequent lecturer and critic worldwide. Granberg has a keen interest in the intersection between filmmaking, and design, resulted in award-winning films and educational initiatives. Granberg more than decade-long interest in bamboo. has resulted in both architectural structures in bamboo and the multi-award-winning film Bamboo—the Tradition of the Future.
