Jurijs Saule

Jurijs Saule studied literature and mathematics in Berlin. Since he did not attend film school, he founded the production company "Blobel Film" to get closer to the dream of being able to direct a first feature film. His script for "Martin reads the Quran" was awarded the highest German screenplay prize and the golden Lola Award, which allowed the project to receive government funding (medienboard B&B, German Federal Ministry of Culture) and is now awaiting its world premiere in 2023. On October 2019 his collaboration with the dancer Diana Mora was a spontaneous liberation of the spirit of these two artists.
