Konstantinos Georgopoulos

Konstantinos Georgopoulos was born and raised in Athens. He has studied Chemistry, Film & TV Studies, Digital Filmmaking. In 2017, he made the short doc “The Carpenter and his Wife” (19th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival). In 2023, he directed his first feature documentary, "The New Home". The film is about the history of the Armenian refugee communities in Greece, during the first years after the events of the Asia Minor catastrophe. Konstantinos works as the Head of Video for Kathimerini.gr and HuffPost Greece and as a film director.
