Marielle Dalpé graduated from Concordia University Mel-Hoppenheim School of Cinema. She then worked her art through several forms of expressio ranging from illustration to animated films and multimedia installations to theater scenography. Her animations have been presented at various events in Quebec city, France and China. She worked with The Musical Box and animated two Genesis album art for their European and American tour of The Musical Box A Genesis Extravaganza. In 2022, she illustrated and animated for the theatre show Pas perdus | stage documentaries by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette and Émile Proulx-Cloutier. Her animated short film Aphasia, produced by the NFB in 2023, is her first professional film. Dérailer (2024) is her first independent film.
