Markus Lenz

Markus Lenz works as a cameraman and documentary filmmaker, as well as a tutor in film art at various schools in Cologne. He studied cultural and media science and Romance languages and literature in Leipzig and Palermo. Between 2010 and 2014 he completed postgraduate studies in documentary film directing and cinematography at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and at the Facultad de Bellas Artes at the Universidad Nacional de Bogotá in Colombia. 2015 he founded 'Dokomotive platform' for innovative distribution strategies of creative documentaries.The focus of his documentaries is on southern Italy and Latin America.
