Mikael Svante Marklund

Started breakdancing at the age of 16 in Skellefteå, Sweden , where an interest for culture at large grew during high-school years. Went to Balettakademin in Stockholm before continuing at contemporary dance school P.A.R.T.S in Belgium. Has since made own pieces, worked with the dance company Rosas in Belgium and Laurent Chetouane in Berlin. Been as well working with Charlie Fouchier, Matej Kejzar, Dansinitiativet, Moritz Majce. Made a short mini documentary about breaking (breakdancing) spring 2020 and first full length movie Dancing On thoughts spring 2022
