Paco Arasanz

Born in Madrid, trained in Mexico and Florence, and currently residing in Almería, Paco Arasanz stands out as the director of "Survivere" (2017) and “Puertas” (2016), between both shorts they have received more than 70 awards at different international festivals. Both short films were acquired by Amazon Prime Video in 2020. They also received the “UNICEF ICDB Award for Best Latin American Television Program in favor of Children” for “Rosa o Azul”, and the “Triple Distillation Award” from Notodo Film Fest. 2007″ for the short film “The Origin of the Family”. His works have been selected at festivals such as the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival (Parasito, 2008), San Sebastián Horror Film Week (Svarmoder, 2009), among others. He is also the creator of Svarmoder (2009), one of the first Multiplatform series in Spain, and the first fiction microseries on Mexican television (Preguntas Que Matan, 2011).
