Ricard Mamblona

Ricard Mamblona is the director of the audiovisual and cultural production company DOCME Films, specializing in documentaries (ARI - A Story of Love and Life, Clínic Connexion, The Round Triangle), training projects, and management of cultural events (FICAE), most of which focus on social issues stemming from the intersection of art and illness. He is also a professor at the Department of Communication at CESAG – Alberta Giménez Higher Education Center, affiliated with the Pontifical University of Comillas (Madrid, Spain). With a PhD in Communication Sciences from the International University of Catalonia, Mamblona, as an educator and researcher, has specialized in contemporary documentary cinema. Mamblona has worked as a screenwriter, producer, director, editor, and distributor of various audiovisual formats, both in Spain and abroad. One of his recent projects, "Anthology of Chance," is a transmedia endeavor (book and documentary feature film) exploring the creative processes of five authorial documentarians from the Balearic Islands.
