Roser Corella

Roser Corella is an independent documentary filmmaker based between Berlin. Roser began her career as an audiovisual creator at the Spanish TV, but her passion for uncovering the human stories behind global issues led her to self-produce her projects and develop a personal vision in documentary filmmaking. Influenced by the auteur tradition, her work blends creative documentary elements with in-depth investigations into pressing social issues, focusing particularly on gender and migration. Her recent documentaries, Grab and Run (about the practice of bride kidnapping in Kyrgyzstan) and Room without a View (about migrant domestic workers in Lebanon), have been showcased and awarded at international film festivals such as CPH:DOX, Hot Docs, Thessaloniki DFF, One World, and DocsBarcelona, among others. Driven by her fascination with the documentary genre, Roser has traveled extensively, seeking untold stories not only to witness but to challenge and raise critical questions about contemporary societies.
