Sanglim Han
Sanglim Han is a new media artist who explores disembodied, fragmented, and interstitial spaces and moments by creating virtual reality and 3D simulations. Currently, she is an assistant professor at Kyungil University, teaching digital media within the metaverse. Since 2019, Han has also served as an academic panelist for the International Symposium on Electronic Art. Han's artworks have been exhibited internationally in numerous countries worldwide, including Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, India, Latvia, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the USA. Her pieces have been featured at prominent events and venues including Ars Electronica, UCSC Digital Arts Research Center, and Media Arts Center San Diego. Han's academic journey began at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
