Sergey Iakovenko
Sergey Yakovenko was born on March 5, 1993, in Taganrog. A year later, the family moved to the north of the Rostov region to a Cossack village, where he spent his childhood. After school he begins to master the aviation technical profession. Since 2013, he has been engaged in video production of clips and advertising. In 2020, he filmed his debut work-competition “Faceless field”, which participated in the program of Russian film festivals such as Gorky Fest, KONIK, Stalker, Golden Knight. In 2022, the film “The Thing” was accepted as part of the 48 Hour Film Race competition, receiving the “Best Musical and Experimental Film” statuette. In 2023, he shot another short film, “Lullaby queen.”
