Vaibhav Abnave

Vaibhav Abnave (b.1985) is an independent researcher and film maker. His research interests lie at the intersection of politics, history and philosophy. Through his films, he explores the intersection of theatre and cinema, documentary and fiction. He has taught courses in international politics, documentary film making and theatre studies at various educational institutes including the Central University of Gujarat, the FLAME University Pune, the National Institute of Design, the Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication. Presently, he is an Assistant Professor (Direction) at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. His films - Blur (2008), Monologue (2013) - have been shown at various international film festivals.
