In the Kenyan village of kadjiré, a farmer is doing his bit to combat global warming. For several years now, he has been renting a 10,000-liter tanker truck to bring food for wild animals to the savannah. His fight has been rewarded by Kenya with a number of distinctive prizes. In his village, the farmers are hostile to wild animals because of the damage they cause to their crops. The vicious circle of drought leads local people to cut down trees to produce charcoal, which in turn leads to desertification of the soil and the disappearance of food for wildlife.
