SUNFLOWER

This is the story of love, pain, struggle and conquest told in the first person by a breast cancer survivor, Augusta, and her daughter Isa. The veil that hides the disease is uncovered oncology and gives vivid testimony to moments of anguish and fear, but also, how these are overcome and how things are turned around. This documentary is about rebirth, transformation, bonds and gift. And also a cry of warning, an attempt to raise awareness and a tribute to all the women and families who have taken or are still taking this violent and troubled. It is, first and foremost, a tribute to Augusta Cancela.
