BThe Last Curlew is an adaptation of the pioneering Canadian environmental novel by Fred Bodsworth, Last of the Curlews. It is brought to vivid life by director Gregory J. Murray Schafer, Alexina Louie and Marjan Mozetich, all performed by harpist Lori Gemmell, violinist Etsuko Kimura and dancer Julia Aplin.
