THINGS TO COME -YEAR 2020

My animation revolves around three main characters from outer space, Franklin, Salo and Jeff. Franklin was a camera shooter (Big Brother) and was imprisoned for endangering the public. He lives in his own mini space station, as Franklin's station is no bigger than a living room, and lives with Salo, an alien who appears and disappears from time to time. Franklin is a lonely AI, while his friend Jeff is more social. Jeff lives with others on a space station. The two friends communicate with each other via the screen, and Jeff's roommates sometimes join in their conversations as well. The core of their conversations - and the film - revolves around current world events (2020), which they discuss in an ironic and sophisticated way, comparing each topic to a science fiction film. Franklin only goes outside once. At the end, he has a nice conversation with Ariana, with whom he has a kind of charming relationship.
