Alejandro Montenegro
Alejandro Montenegro studied communication at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana - Cali, with an emphasis on audiovisual production. He is an entrepreneur, director and creator of the Buena Movida Audiovisual Agency since 2013, a company dedicated to the creation of audiovisual communication strategies, the production of documentaries and documentary series. As a director, he has had the opportunity to participate in the development and production of different documentary series and unitary documentaries for public television and other broadcast media, among which are: documentary series “Miradas pacificas” Chocó, Colombia in 2008, for the year In 2012 he was the winner of the call “Corte Colombiana” on the Zoom channel, in 2010 he was the director of the T.V. Program “Gestando Ambiente”, in 2016 he was Director of the Documentary Series “Aliadas, mujeres que construyen paz”, for the year In 2017 he had the opportunity to direct the Documentary Series “Cali, encuentro of emotions” a tribute to the 60 years of the Cali fair, for the year, in 2018 he directed the 10-chapter documentary series “SOS VALLE”, 2019 he created and directs the multiplatform documentary series “The Last Witness”, official selection of the YICCA Italia 2020 International Contemporary Art Festival, series nominated for best web series at the Montreal Digital Web Fest 2020 festival. (Canada), winning documentary series for best photography in the film festival of the city of Popayán Puracé in 2020. Under the creative direction at the Buena Movida Agency, he has managed to produce and carry out documentary projects such as “Confinados”, a documentary series that portrayed the pandemic and co-produce with the Fundación Valle del Lili University Hospital to make a series of documentaries about survivors
