DISTRIBUTION

For filmmakers with a finished film

Your film is done. The festival run is going, or it's over. And the question that actually matters is still unanswered: who buys this, and how do you reach them?

We don't acquire your film and we don't take exclusive rights. We work as a non-exclusive representative: we assess where your film sits in the market, package it so a buyer can evaluate it in five minutes, and pitch it to the people who acquire this kind of work. You keep the right to sell it yourself, and you owe us nothing on deals you close on your own.

FOUR STEPS, IN ORDER

We work sequentially, and we don't skip ahead. Outreach before positioning is how films get burned with buyers — you only get one first impression per company, and a badly framed pitch closes that door for a year.

01· Diagnose

Find out what you actually have and where it can go — before spending money on anything else.

02 · Position

Build the commercial frame: what this film is, who it's for, why a buyer should care.

03 · Package

Turn it into something a buyer can assess quickly — materials, technical readiness, clean rights.

04 · Represent

We pitch it directly to buyers we know, track every approach, and report what comes back.

Most films don't need all four. The point of step one is finding out which ones you need.

WHERE TO START

ENTRY

Market Read - $49

An automated market assessment: realistic buyer landscape, active channels, positioning verdict, what's blocking a deal, and what to fix first. Eight sections, delivered in minutes.

Deep Dive - $249
For a film already going out. Everything above plus comparable deals with real terms, who is acquiring right now — including who quietly stopped, several positioning frames, a festival strategy in order rather than a list, and an outreach kit written for your film. Fifteen sections.

Audience Feedback Report - $150

Structured audience response from an LSN screening: NPS, component scores, emotional profile, pull quotes ready for your poster and deck.
Free for festival selections in exchange for a FilmFreeway review.

EVERYTHING BELOW IS MADE BY HAND

The two tiers above are automated (Market Read and Deep Dive).
They are fast, structured, and honest about their limits.

Everything below is different work. A person reads the project, checks each company as currently active for this profile, weighs it against what LSN is seeing in the market right now, and signs the verdict. Where a model reports what is visible in the data, a person tells you what they actually think, including when the answer is that this won't sell.

Named individual contacts stay inside our own outreach at every tier. What you get is companies, departments and the public route in. The judgement of who is worth approaching is the part you are paying for.

DIAGNOSE

Distribution Opinion — $300

A Market Read is generated by a model in minutes, and it's honest about what that means. This is the version a person writes. Same framework, but every claim verified by hand: each channel checked as currently active and actually acquiring work like yours, comparable deals confirmed with real terms, adjusted for your genre, budget, cast and year.

It closes with a written verdict from LSN's team: the honest read on whether this film sells, through which route, and what's currently standing in the way. Including the parts we're uncertain about, and including the answer you may not want. Recent opinions have told filmmakers their film was two decades past its festival window, that their strongest festival credit was one they'd been overstating, and that the realistic route wasn't a distributor at all. That's the product.

Five to seven working days. Send the screener, synopsis, poster and stills, technical specs, credits, festival history and rights status, and if something's missing that would change the answer, we'll ask rather than guess. One round of written questions is answered after delivery. It isn't audience data: no audience has seen the film, and if that's what you need, it requires an actual screening.

What you paid for your Market Read or Deep Dive credits toward this within 30 days.

WHAT "VERIFIED CONTENT" MEANS

When we present a film to a buyer, we say it's verified. Here's exactly what we're claiming — and what we aren't.

Audience validation. The film has been screened to a real audience, at an LSN festival or in an independent testing session, with structured feedback collected.

🔹 Technical QC. The file meets delivery standards for streaming, VOD or broadcast.
🔹 Legal QC. The rights holder has confirmed music, talent and archival clearances in the agreement.

🔹 Market positioning. There's a clear positioning statement, logline, hooks and key art, so a buyer can assess commercial potential without watching the full film.

A film in our Catalog carries a lighter check, technical watchability, and a rights warranty, and we present it to buyers as catalog content, not as actively represented work.

We keep those two things separate in every buyer conversation, because the distinction is the only reason the label means anything.

HOW WE WORK

  • Non-exclusive. You keep the right to sell your film yourself or through anyone else. We take commission only on deals we broker directly.

  • Sequential. Outreach doesn't start before positioning and packaging are finished and approved by you.

  • Fees upfront, per phase. We're paid for the work regardless of outcome, and we take a share of success when a deal closes. That's deliberate — it means we're never pushing your film somewhere that doesn't serve it just to book a commission.

  • Twelve-month term, renewable by agreement.

  • No guarantees. We don't promise sales, festival acceptances or distribution deals. Anyone who does is selling you a certainty this market doesn't offer.

  • What you'll see. Every approach we make is logged and visible to you: who the film went to, in what capacity, and where it currently stands.

WHAT LSN IS NOT

  • We don't acquire rights or pay minimum guarantees.

  • We're not a production company — we don't finance films.

  • We're not a PR firm — we don't run press campaigns.

  • We don't work on commission only. Every engagement, including the entry tier, carries an upfront fee for the work.

  • And we don't take exclusive rights. Ever.

START WHERE IT MAKES SENSE

If you don't yet know whether your film has a market, start with a Market Read. $49, delivered in minutes.

If you already know the landscape and need to know what's actually moving right now, start with a Deep Dive. $249.

Either one credits toward the Distribution Opinion if you go further.

If you already know what you have and want the full engagement, write to us and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit, including when it isn't.
