Alexandre Athané

Alexandre Athané has worked in Paris, New York and London, mainly, as a filmmaker, illustrator and animator. He drew, animated and hand colored his short film A SPACE IN TIME frame by frame. The film stars the voice of beloved french actor Pierre Richard, original music by Alex Beaupain and the support from Gulli. The film has won numerous international awards (Iran, Usa, UK, Ukraine, South Africa, Alaska, Spain, Greece, Russia, France...) JUS D’ORANGE, is Alexandre's latest project, an animated film, starring the voice of José Garcia, and La Big Bertha, with the support of France Télévision. The film just won the Spirit Award Animation at the Brooklyn Film Festival, the Audience Award at the CPLTQC festival in France, the Prize for Best Screenplay at the Filmmakers’ Evening at the Grand Rex in Paris, Best short animation film and CInematic Achievement Award at Kisffo in Greece.
