Arthur Nazaretian
My name is Arthur Nazaretian. I was born in 2001 in Siberia, in a small town called Kansk. When I was 10, we moved to Yerevan, Armenia. I studied at a Russian school, and I can say that I combine a multicultural perspective on art and life. In 2019, I enrolled at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, majoring in Film and Television Directing under the workshop of Edgar Baghdasaryan. During my five years of study, I directed two short fiction films: Anhedonia (2022) and Sangria (2023). In 2024, I shot my graduation film Forgive Me, Mom, starring Evgeny Pronin (Garpastum, 2005) and Aram Karakhanyan (Amerikatsi, 2022). What I love most about directing is writing scripts, creating new worlds, and working with actors. I already have a finished script and a project for my debut feature film, which I plan to shoot this year.
