Brett Buescher

Brett Buescher is a filmmaker, editor, and storyteller whose work combines immersive, on-the-ground filmmaking with bold, cinematic storytelling. Rooted in skateboarding culture and action sports, Brett developed his visual style documenting underground skate crews and building a following through @StreetKingpins. An app that gives every skater in the world a fair chance to compete with each other. He is also the main donor of The Lion’s Den Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Where he provides a safe place for alternative kids to hang out and express themselves. Brett is constantly giving away skateboard product with kids in hopes of it providing them a healthy outlet. His filmmaking draws from a gonzo-inspired approach — immersive, adrenaline-charged, and deeply personal. Driven by Angels is Brett’s debut feature-length documentary, a film that interweaves high-stakes stunt racing with intimate themes of loss, brotherhood, and survival. With a background that spans skate culture, DIY filmmaking, and grassroots organizing, Brett brings a unique lens to stories of outsiders pushing limits, both physically and emotionally.
