Chuck Morrongiello
Filmmaking is Chuck’s second career incarnation as his lifelong passion has been working as a musician. For almost ten years, he was a lead guitarist for Marty Balin, of Jefferson Airplane fame. Now he’s added horror moviemaking to his artistic repertoire. He grew up in Long Island, New York, right down the road from the infamous Amityville Horror house which inspired him to write one of his horror movies "Amityville Mt. Misery Road". Chuck is an independent writer and talented director and together with his wife Karolina (who is an actress and the editor on their films) they make the new "power couple" of the independent filmmaking industry. They create films from the screenplay to the fully edited final cut ready to be released including their own music and soundtracks. The American Ripper is their latest artistic achievement inspired by "The Shining", "Joker", and "Misery".
