Elif Dokur

Born in Edirne/Havsa, the artist graduated from Anadolu University, Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Animation in 2019 and completed the Proficiency in Art program in the same department in 2025. In her artistic practice, she brings together various disciplines such as illustration, 2D animation, stop motion, and mixed media, focusing on experimental forms of storytelling. Her short animated film “Coffee Ground” has been screened at numerous national and international festivals and receiving awards. In her recent works, she often explores the darker aspects of human nature, as well as themes of collective memory, silence, and violence, constructing her stories through atmospheric and often uncanny spaces. She continues her production as an independent artist.
