Giuseppe Piscino

Giuseppe Piscino was born in Naples in 1969 and has been passionate about the world of cinema since childhood. In 1990 he shot his first short film in Salvador de Bahia, his place of residence. Returning to Italy, in the following years, he wrote and directed other shorts and staged some of his theatrical pieces. Since 1998 he has dedicated himself to writing short stories and novels, winning various literary prizes. Since 2011 he has been assistant director and screenwriter for the company AllCrazy of Lissone, with which he has staged more than 50 musicals for families, including adaptations and original drafts, in Italian and Swiss theaters, conceiving with the director Michele Visone the format “Once upon a time it was fairy tales “. In 2013 he returns behind the camera and is still in business. His works have entered competition in several festivals around the world, also winning some prizes, with the short films “Human beings”, “Grace”, “Trip” and “Uoma”. In 2021 he founded the film production company Tetra Vision in Naples. At the beginning of 2023, the first part of a tetralogy about love “Dreaming in love color” and the dark story “Out of time” will be released. In 2025, “Shoes” was released, a story of fulfilled and unexpected wishes. He is currently writing the screenplay for his first feature film, entitled “Mare salvo”.
