Jean-Louis Carrasco is a French film director specializing in cinematic storytelling, visually driven narratives and internationally produced fiction projects. A graduate of ESRA film school in Paris, he developed his visual approach through years of directing TV commercials, fashion productions and premium digital content across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. Alongside his commercial work, he has continuously pursued fiction filmmaking, shaped by atmosphere, human emotion and a strong visual identity. His short film The Au Revoir, shot in Mumbai, was presented at the Cannes Short Film Corner and received the Best Romance Award at the Bodega Bay Film Festival in California. His latest short film, The Diggers (2026), shot in Paris and planned for development into a feature, was selected and awarded at the Montpellier Film Festival. He is currently developing new short and feature film projects for international festivals and co-productions.
