Joanna Evans is a practicing therapist in North Carolina who began her writing journey with her novel Sinai Unhinged, a thriller rooted in science. Her work as a therapist gave her a strength in dialogue that lets her write convincingly across genres, from thriller to romance to comedy. Her screenplay Blurred Instinct has completed production with Riley Weston, Justin Jones and Evans Butterworth of Thriller Films, and several of her other works have been optioned or shopped.
