Joao Amorim

João Amorim is a film director. In 2010, he released his first feature length documentary film ”2012 – A Time for Change”, with David Lynch, Sting, Ellen Page and Gilberto Gil. João was also director of “Chicago 10”, a film that opened the Sundance Film Festival in 2007 and was nominated for an Emmy in 2009. He signed off as director of the new “Sesame Street”. He produced the series, Survival Manual for the 21st Century, the Bela Raízes, and two seasons of Thiago & Isis. He is finishing feature length documentary Utopia Tropical.
