Linxin Kisa Li

Linxin “Kisa” Li, (she/they), a dancer, filmmaker, photographer, and choreographer. She is a third-year MFA student at the Florida State University, School of Dance. Her MFA research focuses on mental health through dance film. She is from Guiyang, China, and began her professional dance training with the Sichuan Province Dance Academy in 2006. Her dancing experience in China gave her many opportunities to perform in national and international settings. She took part in the International Dance Competition in Munich, Germany 2004, where she received first place. She danced with Erpao Dance Company in China for over two years. She also danced with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company through her college years and joined their second company in her senior year. Linxin is passionate about various forms of art, such as oil painting, dance photography, as well as producing music.
