Marcelo Machado

My name is Marcelo Machado, I am a Cuban who emigrated to the USA, I am 21 years old and study film at the Miami Dade College. The Decision is just my first film, produced along with another short film entitled “Where do ducks go in the winter”, a piece that is around two minutes long and that has a close relationship with the concept of The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger (from which I took the phrase that gives the title to the piece), it deals with the existential problems and frustrations of my generation, starting from the lack of objectives and extreme loneliness in which we sometimes live, situations that, as it has been demonstrated in the most recent past, they can end in great tragedies.
