Mario Alberto Zamarripa and Jose Guadalupe Zamarripa

Directors Mario and Jose Zamarripa were born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, and have recently graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. At first, Jose began recording street fights for fun and convinced his twin brother Mario to film. After that, they both started creating shorts, which eventually became a passion. Their future goals are to direct and write films that inspire others in the Rio Grande Valley into the art of filmmaking. "A Long Way to Go" will be the brother's second short film.
