Martin Escriche

Martín Escriche is a director who began his career directing rap music videos in Rio de Janeiro. He has collaborated with artists such as Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Filipe Ret, Papatinho, BK, Dennis DJ, Kevinho, ConeCrew Diretoria, and Cacife Clandestino. Since 2013, Martín has also directed advertising campaigns in countries such as Vietnam, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Italy, Taiwan, Japan, Mexico, among others. His commercial work has been recognized with awards at prestigious festivals, including Cannes Lions, Effie, El Ojo, and CCSP. In 2025, he premieres his short film "O Sonho de Cadinho", which explores a father's struggle to fulfill his son's dream of seeing the ocean while addressing social and environmental issues related to mining in vulnerable communities. His first feature film, "Máfia de Pelúcia", is a psychological thriller following Adriano, a journalist torn between exposing an organ trafficking network and saving his own life. The film is currently in post-production, with a release also scheduled for 2025. The fiction project "Dendê", co-authored by Martín, won two awards at Conecta Fiction & Entertainment (Core Award + Sanfic Award) and was selected for the official lineup of Rio2C 2023 and SANFIC Industria (Santiago International Film Festival) 2023.
