Thaddeus Daniel Wall Robertson

Thaddeus Robertson is Film Director, Screenwriter and Actor originally from Owego New York. Thad fell in love with film from a young age from watching old world war two films and westerns that his mother would show to her film history classes. When his dad would come home from New York City the two of them would bond over movies like It’s a Wonderful Life, The Godfather, Easy Rider, and Orfeo Negro. Robertson has always believed that film captures humanity and what it means in all its passion, pain, and ecstasy. Often he would think of his life as if it were a film, paying attention to small things like the way light would reflect off of leaves, the microexpressions people would make in conversation, or the way space interacted with sound. Thad also grew up struggling with serious OCD which he learned to conquer through hardcore exposure therapy. However, his OCD turned out to be one of his strengths because it often helped him hone in on the detail oriented characteristics of his art. Thad is an Eagle Scout, the former Vice President of DKE, a former machinist at Lockheed Martin, and currently a Script Development Intern for Ramo Law in Beverly Hills, California. His most notable work is the 2024 film VIR; a film about the crisis among men. Robertson currently attends Ithaca College and will graduate in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Cinematography and Photography.
