A "Permanently Open Window" is a film loosely inspired by Jason Dodge's installation of the same name. The film is about two photographers exploring the shores of an artificial lake located in central Italy. Slowly, we realize that nature has been able to reclaim the place, creating an almost tropical environment. The hand of the human being and the imperturbable flow of nature meet in a loop made of suggestions and signs of life. The human presence in the film is demonstrated above all by the sounds (including electronic ones) that resonate in the environment.
