In a small West Virginia town, con couple Dominic and Bunny target Big Ed’s 40-acre farm, planning to scam him into selling. Disguised as wealthy buyers, they quickly realize the farm's residents, including Big Ed and his eccentric sidekick Skeeter, are far from ordinary. As the couple tries to close the deal, their façade begins to crack, and they find themselves trapped in a terrifying web of local madness.

REVIEWS:

The plot felt a bit confusing. The inconsistencies between storylines and imagery kept pulling me out of the experience. Instead of feeling scared, I was mostly trying to figure out what was actually happening in the film.

Live Screenings Attendee

laughed, winced, and kinda wanted to shower after

Grishma Rawal

It’s absurd, it’s brutal, it’s hilarious.

Oscar Fernandez Rodriguez

This is the kind of unhinged short that plays at 2AM and becomes legend. Between the wigs, the pig-barn tension, and the compost monologue

Benjamin Nguyen

At first I thought it’d be just another backwoods horror parody, but then it bit. The tone is tightrope-perfect — funny, mean, and a little too real.

Elena Navarro Perez

The banter between the scammers? Golden. The locals? Nightmare fuel. The combination? Horror-comedy magic. I’d watch an entire series set on that farm.

Elena Prav

I was hooked by the con plot and stayed for the full-on hillbilly horror. The scam artists got what they deserved — and the locals? Terrifyingly cool.
