REVIEWS:

I was struck by how the film merges the everyday and the symbolic. The elders with cameras and the boys on skates become a metaphor for changing times. Their movement feels less like a struggle and more like a quiet passing of the flame.

William Garcia

I watched it with a smile. These people carry so much warmth and stubborn hope! The moment when the cameraman pushes his bike through the snow really touched me. So simple, yet so sincere.

Stéphan Marcheggiani

It is a rare example of documentary cinema that is both observation and a love letter to reality. The young director builds a space of trust between generations. you can feel it in every frame.

Christopher Olson

Fire on Ice is a surprisingly mature work from a 16-year-old director. It captures documentary authenticity but breathes with poetic sincerity as if the camera itself is searching for warmth within the ice. It’s not merely a story about sport, but about persistence and generational connection.
