In the pines is a classic of African-American music, made popular by African-American singer Leadbelly during the 1940s. More than 20 versions of this classic have been made, also known as Were did you sleep last night, by groups such as Nirvana, Greatful Dead, Mark Lanegan, Bob Dylan, Bill Monroe etc ... A dark and melancholic theme that narrates a crime of a railroad man, of which only his head appears next to a wheel. Inspired by this verse, we have built the story around that mystery, in the key of black comedy. Its interpreter, Solomon (recently founded Canarian folk and blues group), gives us a new vision of the Leadbelly classic.
