In the heat of the Hundred Years' War, English Lord Talbot and the fierce French warrior Joan la Pucelle clash on the battlefield outside Orléans. Talbot, brimming with confidence, watches in disbelief as his once-victorious troops falter under the determined charge of a woman. From Shakespeare's Henry VI. "In a battle of wills, only one will stand unbroken."

REVIEWS:

I’m not usually into historical stuff, but the fight here is so gripping that the nine minutes just fly by!

Pia Luiz

I love that it pulls from Henry VI and turns the moment into a raw, visual confrontation. Joan vs Talbot has always been electric, and here it’s delivered well.

Johan Angel

Some of the armor looks later than the period, and the colors are stylized. But overall, the atmosphere is solid and respectful to the era.

Andres Martinez Hernandez

What a surprising find in this festival. I'm so glad that I watched it for it was very satisfying. Perhaps the arc of the sunlight and the demands of the exterior shots was a bit daunting, but the strong performances from the two Leads more than made up for those challenges. Overall, I was satisfied with the choreography, and at times it felt real. The music score really tied it all together well and helped place the viewer back in time. Bravo! for taking on such an ambitious endeavour.

Grant Gladish

The fight choreography is great. The armor feels heavy, the hits land, the movement looks authentic. You can tell the actors really know stage combat.

Elena Navarro Perez

I felt for both of them! They fight like everything is on the line, and their expressions sell the pain. Short film, strong emotions.

Juan Carlos Garcia Sanchez

And the camera shakes a bit too much at times, losing clarity of movement.

Nicodemo Losa

Great choreography, but honestly I wanted more narrative than a fight for the sake of fighting. For a Shakespeare adaptation, I wished for more emotional depth.

Natalia Gonzalez Ruiz

I appreciated how the film reshapes Shakespeare into a tight, kinetic short. The editing is crisp, the rhythm precise, and the duel works as a character dialogue. Her fury versus his stubborn pride.

Luca Ochoa

Solid work, but the color grading felt a bit muddy
