PRAIRIE

The animated film “Prairie” depicts the everyday life of a cowboy who lives with his horses on a ranch in the middle of nowhere on the American Great Plains. Clouds pass by, laundry flutters on a line and the constant rustle of the prairie wind underscores the sameness of this dropout life. However, the television, as the only connection to the rest of the world, soon breaks this harmony - because the news shows a wild beast that has escaped from the nearby zoo to satisfy its hunger with horses.
