A dark fable about greed and curses. The story revolves around a mysterious porter and a pale-skinned, bald blind man. The porter delivers mysterious pumpkins to the blind man every day until he discovers the irresistible allure of the golden liquid flowing from within them. Driven by desire, he secretly consumes a portion of a pumpkin, only to find himself unable to escape the blind man's "sight". As the story unfolds, the porter's fear escalates, ultimately revealing a terrifying truth: the pumpkin he consumed has become an inescapable curse, and the blind man's true identity is far from what it seems. Through a suffocating atmosphere, visual metaphors, and masterful pacing, the film builds a sustained sense of dread, culminating in a spine-chilling conclusion.

REVIEWS:

The imagery references the etchings of Francisco Goya. The black-and-white palette with sharp contrast creates the feeling of an ancient, cursed fairy tale. The only splash of color, the orange pulp, works as a visual accent on the forbidden fruit. Aesthetically flawless.

Michael Lee

This is a classic depiction of paranoia. "Stop following me!" is the porter talking to his own conscience. The Blind Man might not even exist in reality; he is a projection of guilt for the theft. The eyes of fear are always big.

Francisco Gonzalez Martinez

I'm scared. Why are their faces so elongated? Brrr.

Agustin Beylin

The story is simple but effective. The script skillfully builds suspense: from a simple delivery to theft and inevitable punishment. The phrase "Did you forget to give me something?" sounds like a verdict. It reminds me of Eastern parables about tempting demons.

Avery Tremblay

I love these Tales from the crypt vibes. The Blind Man sitting on the throne looks less like a human and more like a deity or a local spirit. The moral is as old as time: don't try to cheat someone who sees more than you, even if they are blind. Excellent modern mythology.

Miguel Ruiz Martinez

God that Blind Man is pure nightmare fuel. His pale skin and empty white eyes stare right into your soul, even though he's supposed to be blind. The atmosphere is as thick as tar. Reminds me of old German Expressionist films but with a modern AI twist. The ending chills you to the bone...

William Garcia

Every frame could be printed and hung on a wall. The composition of the shot where he walks uphill against the backdrop of a giant moon is simply epic. The hatching stylization adds volume and gloom to the image. I want an artbook for this film.
