This work is inspired by the Siberian roe deer living on the cold Eastern Plateau, and incorporates ancient local legends of snow monsters. The story tells of a snow hunter in the forest who triggers the revenge of a mythical creature after pursuing a deer. The strange and eerie encounter adds to the human fascination with mysterious folklore.

REVIEWS:

It feels like an old Siberian folk tale brought to life that campfire kind of story where you’re too scared to look into the dark.

Anna Missaglia

This film made me feel the cold and loneliness. And that ending like a whisper of the wind that gives you chills.

Alexander Martin

Honestly, I didn’t expect stop-motion to be this terrifying. That snow creature it’s pure nightmare fuel!

Nino Irvikyan

I liked how the director uses animation not for beauty, but for philosophy as if nature itself is watching humanity and passing judgment.

Leon Bokhari

Beautiful, strange, and sad. I didn’t understand everything, but I felt it like an old legend came alive before my eyes.
