Ana Aznarez Yera

I’m Ana Aznárez, a journalist specializing in documentary film. My first audiovisual work was a historical documentary, recorded in 2019, which gathers the memories of those who witnessed the Spanish civil war in the Aragonese town of Belchite. I currently work in a film production company in Zaragoza as a documentary filmmaker and screenwriter. I grew up in a small town of Aragon, with only 500 inhabitants, so the rural world and depopulation are themes to which I have a special bond, themes that revolve around this short film, 'My voice', the first piece I make on my own.
