Ravi Joghee

Ravi Joghee is a screenwriter and filmmaker whose work blends poetic imagery, layered symbolism, and sharp social commentary. Known for crafting stories that move between myth and stark realism, Ravi’s scripts often explore power, identity, and the unspoken wounds carried across generations. His short films and screenplays have gained international recognition for their distinctive narrative voice and visual boldness, including DEAR THIEF, which screened at the Go Short International Short Film Festival (2024) and won over 70 international awards, and I’M KAMALA, a 28-minute drama confronting youth euthanasia, terminal illness, and moral agency with poetic intensity. In WOW (War of Wombs), Ravi distils the brutality and beauty of human connection into a visceral, allegorical tale set on a windswept beach — a meditation on history, cruelty, and the possibility of un-bowing. His work continues to push boundaries, merging deeply personal vision with universal themes that speak to audiences across cultures.
