Morning of 24th of February 2022. Yaroslav and Bogdan, brothers and teammates of Ukrainian kids' volleyball team are approaching Kharkiv for a youth tournament when full scale invasion of Russia begins and heavy shelling of Russian missiles on their route becomes their new challenge.
Few months earlier Ukrainian men's national volleyball team continues preparation for the World Championship 2022, when surprising coincidence of results at Asian Cup leaves them out of the list of 24 best teams in the World eligible for the tournament. Ukrainian team remains first in the rating of non-participants... to finally join the Championship after global ban of Russian sports due to invasion.
Yaroslav, Bogdan and their mother Natalia are now refugees with only two bags taken while fleeing to Poland: one bag with cloths, and second with 2 pairs of sneakers and a volleyball ball to continue trainings for boys. There, in Poland, 2 brothers, possible future stars of volleyball, and their mother, meet Ukrainian national team, that came to World Championship to support Ukraine with the best result in history and receive invitation for qualification tournament of Olympic Games 2024!
