"The light that illuminates the world is your own light" What a beautiful quote by Rumi to set the tone for the whole picture! This isn't just a biography of a boy from a small town. It's a meditation on finding oneself. Director managed to show not only the brilliance of the diamonds but also the hard, exhausting work behind the "Awakening" collection. A worthy piece of work, I will recommend it to my friends!

An amazing film about a great contemporary artist. The strikingly beautiful and unique works evoke a multitude of feelings and a deep emotional response. At the same time, one can see the drama of an artist caught between serving God and confronting Him as a Creator. A man with a philosophy of immense sacrifice for the sake of art, living in loneliness despite having a large family. A man trying to change people's consciousness, yet observing that people are getting worse with every passing year. A very beautiful and touching film. Thank you!

Well, it's okay, I guess... The jewelry is beautiful, of course, and it's shot very expensively. But to be honest, listening to an hour of "spiritual searching" and "the energy of stones" was a bit tough for me. I was frankly falling asleep in some parts. This movie is probably more for those who are genuinely into jewelry making or art. Too slow for me.

A stunning, very delicate portrait of a true creator. The Michelangelo quote at the beginning about art being a jealous thing that requires the whole man really resonated with me. It perfectly describes Ilgiz's path. Seeing how he gives a piece of his soul to every piece of jewelry, and then watching people tear up at the Peterhof exhibition, it's an indescribable emotion. A very inspiring film about the price of true mastery. 5 out of 5!

Totally not my genre! Watched just for company and thought I'd die of boredom. BUT! But But damn, this jewelry is mind-blowing!!! I spent the whole movie googling how much his work costs (spoiler: I won't make that much in a lifetime lol). The film itself dragged a bit in the middle, but the ending at the exhibition was really touching. I don't regret watching it!

An aesthetically flawless film. I really loved the cinematography and how detailed the process of creating the collection over these two years was shown. There's a sense of surrealism and absolute dedication to one's craft. A very meditative pace that allows you to truly examine every detail. A beautiful tribute to a modern genius.
