Berfi Dicle Ogut

After leaving her education at the Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Engineering, she went to France where she took cinema and language education, at Atelliers Francais, Paris. She studied dramaturgy and theater at the Akademi İstanbul. In 1997 till 2003 she worked as an assistant of director in Plato Film. In 2004 she wrote her first novel “Bir Acayip Öfke,”(A Strange Fury), published by Phoenix Press in 2008. Berfi started to film making with short film in 2005 later on she realized as producer, director and script writer one TV film, 3 feature documentary film. She has been working in the television industry for the last 15 years. he completed Turkish & British Co-Production film "The Waters of Babylon,” at the end of 2023 and has won 18 awards at 16 film festivals in 9 countries around the world. Now her film distributing in US, UK, AU, NZ and CA also her film distributing at 1 th March 2024 at whole tehatres all over in Turkey via one the biggest distributer Company Mars Distributing.
